Kenneth L. Marcus
The Senate’s confirmation hearings have concluded regarding the confirmation of Kenneth L. Marcus, President Trump’s nominee for the position of Assistant Secretary of Education for Civil Rights.
Many anti-Israel groups are bombarding the Senate Health, Education, Labor & Pensions (HELP) Committee with smears against the Marcus confirmation. Among those opposed to Marcus’ confirmation are the typical anti-Israel zealots: the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights, an organization that accuses Israel of ethnic cleansing; Mondoweiss, among the most anti-Israel websites in existence; and Jewish Voice for Peace, a rabidly anti-Israel organization.
It is imperative that pro-Israel supporters take action immediately by contacting the individual senators on the HELP Committee (information below).
